Fr. Bransfield was born in Philadelphia in 1973. He entered St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in August of 1994 and was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia on May 18, 2002. His previous assignments include: Dean, College Division, Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary (2013-1016), Assistant Judicial Vicar, Office of the Metropolitan Tribunal, Archdiocese of Philadelphia (2009-2013), Assistant to the Archbishop, Office of the Archbishop of Philadelphia (2008-2013), Adjunct Faculty, St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, Wynnewood, PA (2009-2013), Archdiocesan Judge, Office of the Metropolitan Tribunal, Archdiocese of Philadelphia (2008-2009), Graduate Studies, Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, Italy (2005-2008), Parochial Vicar, St. Jude Parish, Chalfont, PA (2002-2005). In addition to serving at St. Matthias Parish, Father Bransfiled's current assignments include Vice, Chancellor, Assistant to the VIcar for Clergy, and Adjunct Faculty, Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.
