Greeters play an essential role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere within the church. By offering a friendly smile, a kind word, and genuine hospitality, they help every person who enters feel valued and included. Their presence can ease the nerves of newcomers, strengthen the sense of belonging for regular attendees, and set a positive tone for the entire worship experience. In addition to their ministry of welcome, greeters assist with seating, distribute missals before Mass, take up the collection, and collect missals while handing out bulletins after Mass. Mass assignments are scheduled on a rotating basis, with each greeter typically serving about twice per month. Through their service, greeters foster community, encourage connections, and reflect the love of Christ to all who come through the church doors.
